This reset functionality is self-service and only for a student's TargetX account. We do not currently have the ability to reset the student's password for them. This account is used to track their Application status as well as their Enrollment checklist items. Once a student is enrolled into the college with a 'D' decision, they should no longer need to use this account.


NOTE: In the future, if a student is returning (3+ terms in the future) and needs to reapply, they can reuse this account. If they re-register with a new account via the site, TargetX performs contact matching based on First Name, Last Name, and Email Address only for these accounts. 


Procedure:


1. Navigate to https://piedmonttech.my.site.com/apply/TX_ForgotPassword to access the TargetX 'Forgot Password' form.

2. Enter the email address used to register for TargetX. This will be a personal account, NOT the PTC student email address.


3. A link to reset the account's password will be sent to the email address registered.


4. After creating a new password, the user will then be logged into the TargetX landing page. They may also manually navigate to the page here
